How did I start
My path into marketing started very early, when I was photographing concerts in my youth as a hobby. In order to share my content, I created a Facebook page where I posted my photos & videos from the concerts in order to start promoting what I was doing.
… And this is how I started thinking in a “marketing way”.
The outcome? Soon enough, I was booked every weekend.
Political Science & History
Soon after, I begun my studies in Political Science and History.
During my studies, I found myself trying to get to know more about the creative part of the political science such as media, political promotion and public speaking.
In addition to these, I had a deep will to know more about reasearch. So, I began taking classes and conducted my own research in the field of refugees.
Internship
In my last year of studies I chose to make my internship along with a collegue in the filed of Project Management.
Our task was to create a KA1 Erasmus+ Project (Youth Exhange Project that lasts 7-10 days).
We had to find the idea, write it down, set the purpose of this project and create different activities.
Moreover, we had to manage all the incoming youths in terms of finding the NGOs to collaborate with, arrange the transportation, the food and their accomodation.
Lastly, we had to set up the budget and to submit the final application to the European Commission.
Even though we didn’t get the funds for this project, your ranking was high and we had the chance to learn many things regarding idea making, project management, budgeting and how to organise events and projects.
Intelligent Packaging & Marketing
By the time I finished my Bachelor degree, I had to choose my next step wisely.
After taking a close look to my skills, I decided that something creative with a managerial twist suits to me, and this is the reason why I decided to start my Master degree in Intelligent Packaging and Marketing.
This master, held by University of West Attica, not only gave me the knowledge in the field of marketing and packaging, but made me learn how to think out of the box and how to be creative.
In addition to all of the above, my thesis in the field of Digital Marketing and Intelligent Packaging innovations as well as novelties and customer behavior during the COVID-19 period helped me in the research of various topics that are really important nowadays.
Lightgear & Mantemi
By the end of my master degree I started working for the Lightgear and Mantemi E-shops where I applied all my theoretical knowledge.
During these 4 years of work I applied my knowledge in : copywriting, paid ads, brand development, product development, marketing and digital marketing.
PGM Spirits
Today, I have oriented myself into B2B marketing in the field of Alcoholic Beverages. For more than 5 months now, I am working for the company PGM Spirits which is a wholesaler in this field.
This opportunity gives me more in depth knowledge in Trade Marketing, Social media & LinkedIn, printed materials, copywriting, email and SMS Marketing, UX and UI for the website and application, business development in terms of new partnerships, CRM (Loyalty Points, Customer Activation) and event coordination.
